The third communication meeting regarding the upcoming 4G Kingdom renovations will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd at 6:30pm. We encourage you to attend this meeting as a special presentation will be given. Thank you for your prayers and support as we enter this time of renovations in our church!

The Janie Chapman Offering for state missions is taking place this month! The Season of Prayer will begin next Sunday, September 6th and runs through September 13th. Our church’s goal this year is $2,500. Please prayerfully consider making a contribution towards this offering that supports missionaries and mission projects across our state!

Sunday, September 13th, following worship

Mark your calendar for a fun afternoon of tailgating and fellowship! We encourage you to sign up to host a tent and prepare food! A sign-up sheet is posted in the Information Center. We look forward to sharing the love of Jesus with our church and community!

A Ladies’ Only Pool Party will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 10am-2pm at Anna Wholey’s home. All ladies and secret sisters are invited to attend this fun event! Secret sisters from this summer’s activity will be revealed. Please consider bringing a side dish or dessert!

A Ladies’ Bible study will begin on Monday, September 21st from 6pm-7pm at Tracy Bernard’s home. The study will be on the book Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin, in combination with the Bible. Please consider purchasing a copy of the book and joining the study!

Sign-up sheets for both events will be placed in the Information Center.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” -Joshua 24:15 - Fathers and father figures of all ages are invited to join us for For My House, a men’s book study through Voddie Baucham’s Family Driven Faith. Beginning Saturday, September 26th at 8am, we’ll meet generally on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays to encourage one another as we seek to faithfully lead, disciple, and serve our families. Come grow in faith, build relationships with other men, and consider the legacy you are building in your home. Sign up in the Information Center or text Carson at 864-614-9117.

The fall Lifegroup season has begun! A list of groups is available by following the link below. There is a group for everyone! We encourage you to get plugged in!

This year, we look forward to collecting items again for including in the OCC shoeboxes! Each month, a specific item will be collected. Please place items at the end of the front hallway, near the trophy case. Items will be packed in boxes during the annual Packing Party that will take place around November. Good News Club is an after-school program, offered by the Child Evangelism Fellowship organization. Our church is blessed to sponsor this program at Keowee Elementary School! Meetings will take place each week, immediately following dismissal until 4pm. Please prayerfully consider becoming a volunteer!

We are excited to utilize a new church management software called Realm Connect! This is a way for us to stay in touch with our membership on a more consistent basis! Please contact the church office to receive an email invitation to create an account and download the app.

The Beacon of Life ministry (formerly the Widows’ ministry). The mission of the ministry is Widows helping others by being a beacon of hope, love, and support. “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in Heaven.” Matthew 5:16
